Vsonic VSD3 Grey (non-detachable version)

These headphones are absolutlely amazing for the price of $40. Fort that money, you get a pair of awesome headphones, a good selection of tips, a carrying bag, and an optional "sport" over ear channels. The over ear pieces are not the best, but they work. The headphone will fall out partially when you take then out, but they work for the most part during work-outs. When I am not at the gym, I usually just keep them out as they seem to be more comfortable.These things fit flush with my ears! Its great! I can lay on my side in bed and it still works, unlike most of the other headphones i have tried at this price point. This is thanks to its around the ear and non-protruding design.The sound quality is very good. Dont be expecting completely the best. But at this price, I have yet to hear anything comparable. The separation is fantastic. Highs can become somewhat sharp overtime, but the bass is responsive, acurate, and has substanance. Punchy and boomy bass both sound great on these. The mids have a slight discoloration near the low end, but they are still pretty well defined, especially at this price point. This is the part where v sonic really made these headphones shine. They are an absolute joy to listen too.The soundstage is great, considering that these are completely closed. At first I though the opposite, but on my third day of listening, i thought I heard a noise. I looked to my side and nothing was there, and I then relized it was in the song. After that time, I have listened to more songs with varying sizes of soundstages and gound that they are actually pretty good.The sound isolation is also amazing on these things. They are like earplugs when I use them, especially when music is played through them. Others around me and barely hear the music at the highest volume my phone can go, and at no point can they make out the song. Please keep in mind that listining at that level will make my ears hurt after not too long.The quality of the cable is good, but doesn't seem that sturdy. The plastic connectors and the headphone jack and in the middle are for sure not sturdy. I added the heat skrinking plastic sleeves in an attempt to prolong their life before something happended to them. But at 40 dollars, I was not expecting all that much.These headphones are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone.I just left my pair on my friends driveway for a few days, so we shall see if they still work and all the rain and, although hopefully not, a couple possible drive-overs.

Use caution when buying these. I knew it said strong bass, but I was just expecting it to be correction for the usual poor performing bass seen on cheaper headphones. It really is beyond basshead levels of bass. I'd recommend going with the VSD3S instead, they sound much more natural and still pack a decent punch in the bass department.I guess we can call that an error on my part, so I won't ruin the rating on the product. They are otherwise build unbelievably well and are comfortable compared to my MEElectronics M6 headphones. The cable feels expensive, the lack of memory wire makes them less of a hassle to get on, and all the join points for the cable have an abundance of strain relief.

The sound of these IEM's were pretty good but the build quality is a concern. All the highs for most of the Vsonic's are too harsh for me. I can see why some people like these though. Extremely comfortable to wear but it just wasnt for me.

Sounds great. you need to lower treble freq. on eq.cable quality could be better.

Only lasted 2 uses. After the first use one side stopped working and the other one went out the next use.
