Great light matte coverage
I love Ysl foundations, but this one is only really good for light day coverage. When you first apply the foundation you'll see it is yummy and moussy, but once it goes on your skin the color looks WRONG. Dont fret! Once you start to blend it and work it into the skin it disappears and gives a fantastic shine free light coverage. It also (according to the ysl sales rep who sold me my first tube) expands once it is applied to fill any pores and give a smooth finish, which sounds a bit rich but I think it really does. I have terrible pores on my cheeks and nose and they are barely noticeable when I wear this foundation.I only gave it 3 stars because it biggest fault is that it actually highlights dead skin and scaly patched on skin, so DON'T exfoliate right before you apply. I also prefer something with more coverage or that can be built upon.
