Upgrade and better cooling for Silverado 2500
Prefect replacement and upgrade to the factory steel cooler from GM. That cooler was prone to rust (yeah, who ever heard of a metal oil cooler) and leakage. With some new 90 degree 6AN fittings and some Oetiler 18.5mm clamps the upgrade was ready to imstall. I cut away the front portion of the lower channel (1-2 inches) to facilitate installation. I used a 12 gauge AL plate to support the lower mounting hole. The AL piece actuallu sinks additional heat from the cooler. Excellent in every way. The cooler fits perefect between the condenser/cooler and the side channel. 2000 Silverado 2500 4WD, extended cab.

Clean the brass flares before install
This is an effective cooler for power steering fluid. I have it mounted in the front below my transmission cooler and while sitting at idle, it cools my power steering fluid by 30+ degrees measured from the inlet/outlet at the cooler. The cooler did leak initially. When I inspected it prior to install, there was some overspray from whatever black coating they use and it had spots all over the brass flare. I did not think it would be an issue, so I installed it. After a short test drive it was leaking at the fittings. I removed it, cleaned the overspray with some xylene and then reinstalled with no leaks after. Take the time to inspect and clean if needed and save yourself the additional time having to redo it. Otherwise, I am happy with this cooler and it seems to cool better than the heatsink style cooler I had before.

So far so good
It felt flimsy and with some bad reviews I almost decided against it. Due to orm cost I opted to chance it. Install was relatively straightforward once I got the front end off my truck. So far it is working out. I used stainless braided lines to connect it up and to limit abrasion.

Excellent as a power steering cooler!
I bought this unit to replace the stock power steering cooler in my Supra which I needed to relocate anyway. This unit is very compact and the perfect size for the location I had in mind. The only concern which came to mind is that the two metal mounting brackets have the pipe running through them. While it is a tight fit they do move a fraction of a millimeter... nothing that would rub through the pipe anytime in the next decade though. ;)

10 times better than stock cooler
Baught this replace the stock auxiliary transmission cooler my Chevy Silverado. This cooler works perfect, it's sits in the vent of my aftermarket bumper and drops transmission oil temperature he just barely above ambient.

Did not use it
I got it for a 'non intended' installation and it did not work well - my fault not the part's fault.
