RITUALS Samurai Magic Shave Cream, 10.1 Fl Oz

I freaking love this stuff. Yes, it's pricey, but it lasts a good amount of time/not much of it goes a long way. It makes shaving SO much more pleasant and easier on the skin. I had to buy some generic shaving cream when I ran out of this, and quickly realized how much this shaving cream had been spoiling me. Definitely worth the investment.

using this shaving cream I find myself not needing to use any aftershave products to soothe my skin. I used to shave without any product, just water, but this makes for a bit closer shave.

Creates a slick shave surface for a good shave

I prefer a bit more 'slick' when I shave. I don't mind the lack of suds but this cream is more like a lotion than a shave cream. I do get a comfortable shave using a sharp blade. The other Rituals products are much better.

I would give this lower than one star but that’s not an option on Amazon. This stuff is quite possibly the WORST stuff I have ever shaved with. The true “magic” is that there is nothing to shave with, it all disappears and leaves your face numb and still needing a shave. I feel sorry for anyone who buys this garbage.

Me lo regalo mi mujer por primera vez. Lo compro en una tienda Rituals en un CC. Desde entonces no puede faltar. Lo utilizo como preafitado, aunque también se puede utilizar como post. Deja la cara suave e hidratada. Facilita el deslizamiento de la cuchilla de tal manera que yo lo he llegado a utilizar en algunas ocasiones solo, sin necesidad de espuma. Lo recomiendo totalmente. No es barato, pero se necesita muy poca cantidad para cada afeitado, por lo que dura bastante tiempo. Lo recomiendo 100%

Some reviews on here are unfair - they mistakenly believe this is shaving cream which should lather up. It is not. It is a cream which you apply to your face prior to shaving (and post if you like).It works more like shaving liquid - you apply and leave it to soften the bristles and then shave as normal. You don't need to be frugal with it, but you certainly don't use more than a couple of teaspoons worth (maybe only 1 tsp actually) each time. You should still be able to see most of your skin.It is simply fantastic. I have super sensitive skin. I have real trouble with many shaving methods and foams, but this one is really first rate and I see the results in my face afterwards (no blotches and minimal rash).Please never discontinue this - you have a customer for life here.

The price is the biggest negative.The cream is really good helping to provide a nice smooth shave (hard beard in my case).After some reviews claiming a less effective shave, I have decided to give it a go and just made sure to follow the simple instructions on the box. I am quite happy with the results and have already started a second unit.
