The design is killer. Potential to be one of the safest camping and survivalist knives one could get for its size. Two downsides I see: -Bead-blast finish is nice, but prevents the spline from being effectively used as a striker for ferrous rods. A quick run over the back with a sanding bit on my dremel tool, and now it works well at striking a rod. -Metal alloy chosen... Could have done better and picked a more durable alloy. Holds a sharp edge, but not a strong one. Can easily dent, and relatively easily dull under heavy use. Pick something a little harder to sharpen and the edge would last significantly longer. Would have KILLED for a scandia grind, or something similar to aid in accurate sharpening in the field. -Glued cord on base: I initially thought that there was a hole at the base of the handle which the chord had been threaded through and woven to make the knife easier to draw and potentially to grip--thus making it possible that I could cut the present cord off and weave my own on (I was aiming for a monkey's fist using survivorcord) but instead found it to be glued on... Super disappointed. Takeaway: Overall, I love this thing. The fact that it looks like a cleaver is a nice plus, but the advantages to an extended thumb contact along the spline and lack of a tiny pointed tip which could easily snap greatly add to the safety and control in use, while also making the entire length of the blade edge more useful.

Better than I anticipated. Since the knife is tiny, I thought it would be flimsy and would only be for small tasks. I was wrong. As soon as I held it, I felt the weight. It feels solid and robust. I bought this knife for camping here in Japan. Since it is small and it looks the least intimidating (Doesnt have a pointy end) I think this will be perfect. Whipping out a knife in Japan even in camping is a little scary as you might get reported for breaking the law. But going camping with a bonfire and cooking, it is a must have. So I got this knife as it looks like a toy. Feels good in the hand, and the Micarta handle is pretty.

Extremely well made and durable knife. Have been using it out in the field and it has proven to be a tough little knife. You obviously won't be chopping down trees with it, but it's a fantastic little fixed blade for those small day to day tasks. Very comfortable to hold and use. The sheath can be used mounted with a lanyard or with the included belt clip. 6 mounting holes means you can get very creative with how you carry it. It retains the knife well and is easy to pull the knife out to use. Only minor complaint is that the attachable belt loop mount is slightly too small for the standard army web/rigger belt. Overall it functions very well, looks great and for the money it's a tough knife to beat.

見た目はとても気に入っている 使い勝手も良い ただ鋼材が値段相応の中華系ステンレスなので刃持ちは悪い
