the amount of traction compared to other sketcher go walks is far superior to them, with the soft base. These have actual tire traction on them and so far they have lasted quite awhile longer than regualr go walks. The neck of the show is more sturdy than go-walks and the comfort is about the same so it's a win-win for the price. Also, check out the sketchers steel-toe boots. They are the best on the market, absolutely destroys timbalands.

Excellent quality however this shoes are not for trail hiking, they are good for walking, the insoles are not removable and not thick enough, if you add an insole your instep will feel tight, a little too wide for my foot, midweight and comfortable, good value for your money if you have wide feet.
