First impression: the chemical STENCH! It's very strong no matter how many times you open it--I'm sure it's the monomer. I wear a N95 mask while using it to reduce my chances of passing out from the smell.But it's very easy to use, all the materials I needed were there (besides the drill, I should have gotten this to further smooth out the extension). However, the powders were twisted on so very tight I needed an adjustable wrench to get all 3 open. I thought I'd lost muscle mass, but they were just very difficult to open.Also the packaging should be more airtight. Yes it says "keep in a well ventilated area" but I don't exactly have a fumehood room to keep it in. So it's just in a closet now.

Received my set very fast, nothing was damaged and the kit was packed very well.While you can not see the actual acrylic colors I used, I mixed all 3 to get a baby pink. 2 parts pink, 1 part white, 1 part clear. The monomer is NOT a fast dry monomer which makes this perfect for beginners! 😊 Though, too much monomer you will chase the acrylic. (I'm used to my fast dry 😅) The acrylic powder itself is very fine and applies like any other powders I've used. The acrylic jars themselves are on the tiny side which makes this set perfect for short nails. My color mixture was made for a fill as my nails are simply to long for the amount of powders received. The drill was perfect for prepping nail beds. The sander bands did wonderfully for shaping. The only thing this kit really needs is a dehydrator (you can use 90% isopropyl alcohol in a pinch) and a primer. I did not use the included forms due to just filling my nails but these forms have worked well for me in the past.The Cooserry company is very helpful with any questions or concerns and have displayed wonderful customer service for me with both different kits I have received from them.

I didn’t get the nail filer or the brush. ): not worth spending the money returning so kinda pointless

Alright idk if this was like super obvious to other people, or if I’m stupid and missed a note somewhere, but you cannot use this kit - NOT EVEN OPEN THE BOX - inside your home. The monomer smell, from the minute you crack that box open, is so. Fricking. Strong. I made the mistake of opening it in my bedroom, and the smell wouldn’t leave for a full day - with the window and door open. So I thought , ok, I’ll try again in my most ventilated room with the fan on, window and door open, and air purifier on. I did just that. And again, boom. Wayyy too strong. But I like the smell personally - I just worry about people I live with - but I happened to be home alone so I went ahead with the kit and did my nails. After I’d been sitting in the stench for an hour or so, I left the room and had to walk my dogs outside. I came back in, and it hit me immediately. It had stunk up my entire house. It was so strong that I didn’t want my dogs inside. I didn’t want to be inside. I felt dizzy. So I dumped the monomer that I had poured into the cup out into my sink and ran water down for a minute or so. I rinsed out the cup, sealed up the jar of monomer and then put everything into a SEALED CONTAINER - not the box it came in - but a sealed container I had. I left the container in the room and kept the window open and fan on in there, but shut the door, so it wouldn’t come into the house anymore. Well it didn’t help sealing it up, because that was three days ago (over three days, like three and a half), and that room smells just as strong as it did when I was using it. I cleaned the area I did my nails on, I did everything I could think of as if this was a poison. I threw away the monomer completely - into my outside trash can two days ago. IT WAS ONLY IN THERE FOR 24-26 HOURS???Anyway yeah maybe y’all knew this already but I did not and I’m pretty pissed about it lol. I’m just gonna go to the salon

I am a licensed cosmetologist and I have worked with some crappy acrylic and this by far was the worst. When it arrived the monomer leaked and melted half the packaging and the plastic containers holding the powder. the drill is okay for light buffing and things but it doesn't have much power to it I couldn't file old nail polish barely without it stopping when I put any kind of pressure on it. The acrylic and monomer wreaked I could only test it outside the fumes were so bad. It was hard to work with and even with good nail prep it all popped of that same nigh or the next couple days. I would look for a better kit.

Best thing I could've ever done for myself!!!! I've saved so much money by getting this simple kit. Only thing is the bottle leaks easily but besides that *chef's kiss*

The tool stopped working after 2 days. I was so mad cause I had one hand done. Lol Also the acrylic doesn't bead correctly, it's so hard to work with.

This package deal for beginners is an excellent price. It had the basic things I needed to start doing nails for myself, I only had to buy a few things and I was ready to go.I loved the way how everything was packed in that box, I was surprised how they got all that stuff in there.
