REVISED::: SEE BELOW - These bottles are great and are a LOT easier to clean than born ...
My preemie would not latch well to any bottle I tried. She preferred breast feeding above all bottles so getting her ready to go to daycare and take bottles was a struggle. She refused them all, until I tried these bottles. These bottles are great and are a LOT easier to clean than born free or dr. browns. She did ok with tommee tippee, but milk would dribble out of her mouth. This bottle works much like the breast and she was able to seal her mouth around the nipple, not dribbling any milk out. Highly recommend. You do need to make sure you pinch the blue valve open. If you don't, it sticks together and doesn't vent property. When it doesn't vent, the nipple collapses as it gets sucked because air cant escape.AFTER 4 MONTHS OF USE:::: REVISION.Although my review above still stands true, I wanted to add why I downgraded my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. After months of use and exposing the bottles to heat (both bottle warmer and dishwasher), the valves start to leak. They leak a LOT. We cannot use the bottle warmer because milk leaks into the bottle warmer making it smell bad and making the water brown from the milk burning on the heating element. At times, the valve will constantly dribble milk, so if you set it down on the furniture it will pool milk under. Or if there is a dramatic change in temperature (ie, you heat up a bottle and your baby doesn't want it and you put in fridge instead), it'll leak in the fridge.I have contacted the company requesting replacement valves or refund. Got a response asking how many valves I needed, but went no where after that.Also. The white ring should have a longer tightening tread. If you don't fully make sure it is tight in place, it leaks. On a few occasions I thought I had tightened the ring well, but didn't and had milk leak all over my baby. Once I was distracted and a 4 oz bottle leaked ALL OVER us while at the pediatrician's office and I looked like I pissed myself! Yes, this was user error, but I fell if the twist was not so shallow, this would have not happened. this is especially easy to do if you tighten the top while the nipple is capped. Make sure the cap is off before tightening the ring prior to tipping bottle. My baby outgrew size 1 nipple rather quickly, and all the packs come with mostly #1 nipples, even the larger 9oz bottles. These are already expensive enough and the larger bottles should come with #2 nipples instead. Now I have to buy the larger bottles AND buy #2 nipples. This is irritating.

I loved these bottles at first
I loved these bottles at first, they are wonderful, and do mimic the breast somewhat, therefore easy to latch for our babies. I had to have these bottles, because they were new, and the video is very appealing, but as I began to use them for a couple of weeks I found out that should have went with another bottle. My issue with these bottles is this: the valve. The valves constantly leak, no matter how many times I pinch them shut, after awhile they leak, and milk gets everywhere. It is very frustrating. They are amazing for a couple of weeks, and then they just get absolutely annoying and messy. No one wants to waste breast milk, especially when it's the bottles fault, and it's being wasted on your kitchen counter. These bottles are made from a non toxic material, which was another reason why I got them (I've spoke with the company about the safety of this product) but I would definitely say to go with

It's design is nice and the wide nipple is good but the suction ...
I'm a breastfeeding mom and I was looking for a bottle for the times I'm either alway from my baby or when we go out. It's design is nice and the wide nipple is good but the suction is a little to loose.i was let down because I bought a similar bottle called breastflow for my oldest son and it did a great job of recreating the suction as if on the breast. This bottle doesn't do that. I mean I know all bottles are not created with the breast imitating abilities but I thought this one should at least have that since it was made specifically to support breastfeeding and since a little on the expensive side. It's a good bottle otherwise and I will use it along with the breast flow bottle that I'm used to.

Leaks when warming
They don't leak during feeding, but do when warming. We heat bottles using 2 methods depending on location. In one location we place the bottles in a bowl of warm water - we observe the water becomes cloudy after heating. Is this water leaking into the bottle too?In the other location we use the popular First Years Quick Serve Bottle Warmer - which begins to give off a burning milk odor after heating several bottles and requires cleaning with vinegar to remove the smell.

Excellent Bottle! Great for Breast-fed or Bottle-fed babies!
We purchased these bottles because our little one would not use a different brand that we had purchased. These bottles are simply amazing. The anti-colic bottle works exactly as it should. The nipple is great for any baby, breast fed or bottle fed. The bottle comes apart easily for cleaning. The nipple and ring separate, and the bottle and anti-colic valve on the bottom (blue piece) come apart for easy cleaning. The only negative thing i would have for these bottles is that the nipple's themselves are larger than most. If you are using a dish washer basket to wash bottle parts in these will not fit in the top portion. They will have to go in the lower basket or else be hand washed. Other than this i have nothing bad to say about them!

Great bottle for moms who want to keep breastfeeding
I'm very pleased that my son has been able to switch back and forth between breast and bottle despite starting to drink from a bottle at 9 weeks (when I had to go back to work) and I think it's partially because we chose these bottles. With my first child, I used Dr. Brown's and he quickly developed a preference for them which made breastfeeding difficult. I like how these have an anti-colic valve that doesn't require using a long, skinny brush to clean like Dr. Brown's did. Additionally, the bottle brush designed for these bottles has a little brush tucked into the handle for that purpose so it doesn't get lost. I bought a few of these bottles to try and am now purchasing more because I like them so much.
