Shea butter is the only thing that keeps my skin from getting scaly here in the Arizona desert. It's super moisturizing. It works best right out of the shower to seal in the water. I use it on my body but not my face. It's thick but it easily gets softer to spread on my skin by rubbing a big dab of it in between my hands. It takes a few minutes to soak in but then it is not greasy at all. The scent is very mild and I don't notice it after awhile although someone I was sitting next to said I smelled like coconut. I also love that it is natural with no parabens. I don't like putting toxins on the largest organ on my body!

This is amazing. It is a bit hard, since it's unrefined (which is a good thing) but it's easy to manage if you either 1) leave it in the bathroom when you're showering, the warm steam from the shower will soften it a bit 2)microwave it 3) Just rub it between your palms and it will soften. Leaves your skin SUPER soft, I'm not kidding you. I can't wait to use it on my feet. I give 5 stars for the product and 2 stars for the packaging, even though it was wrapped in Bubble Wrap nice and tight, somehow the bottom of the jar cracked open.. but thankfully I was able to tape it so that it doesn't come out from the bottom, since the shea butter is sooo hard, almost like soap, it's not a big deal. But I'd recommend ordering this by itself, I ordered it with another cocoa butter jar, that was not wrapped in Bubble wrap, so perhaps that's how it happened.

I was searching for a good and economical skin cream and found it with this item. I t was shipped immediately, very well wrapped, just a brown glass jar with a plastic lid. I do prefer glass, it will not interfere with the product and can be easily recycled. The shea butter is more like a wax but gets soft almost immediately on the warm skin. It is VERY economical because little of the butter goes a long way. I use it on my face and love it, my skin is not very dry so I was a little concerned it might be too rich but it makes the skin soft and fine wrinkles seem to disappear, deeper wrinkles soften. I use it also on my hands and cuticles and it does wonder for my gardener hands. When I read all the different ingredients in other skin care and the great promises which never come true I prefer something which is organic and only one substance. In case of a skin reaction I know what caused it. To wrap it up I can only recommend this product, the quality, the amount and the price are a good value in my opinion.

This is pure Shea butter and it’s better than any other moisturizer I have ever used!

I used this in my hair with an array 2 other oils. The mango butter makes my hair and skin so soft. When I ran out, I noticed the difference in my hair just using mu other oils. Mango butter has a high fat content and high boiling/ melting piont which is why it may be grainy. If you melt it nd its still grainy its becuase it not hot enough yet. They will melt with prper heat. All oild have this quality but may have a lower melting or boiling piont. If other brands are smotth it may be whipped or more processed. I have tried another brand on this site but they did not work as good. I will be a loyal customer

Love it! I've been using it on my face and hands at night. It doesn't break my face out at all, just leaves it soft and moisturized in the am. My biggest reason for loving it is for what it does to my hands. I work in a medical laboratory, and sanitize/handwash/change gloves many times during a shift. The backs of my hands start breaking down and get red and sore. I've started applying a thick layer of this at night, and it reverses the breakdown over night. It doesn't sting at all, which is a huge bonus. Love love love, will definitely re-order. It does have an aroma, and it does feel grainy when you first scoop it out of the jar, but it melts into your skin very quickly.

I bought this to use for my nose because I have a dry nose which cracks and bleeds and I found this to be a great help.
