Great backpack, highly recommend! I got it to hike Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, hiked 11 miles in each and this backpack worked great. Size perfect to carry enough stuff (sunscreen, water, etc) but lightweight. No leakage. Water flow system worked well.

I bought this for my sister in law before our hike. I wanted to get her a lightweight basic backpack with water bladder. I was surprised to find this one with both for such a great deal. I was hesitant with some of the reviews saying pieces had failed but I think for a basic day pack, this is perfect. Even if the water clip on the strap breaks, there’s still a fabric loop that serves the same purpose. The day pack itself is a decent quality. I noticed that she enjoyed the pockets on the front for snacks. There were also mesh pockets on the back that made it easy to keep her phone. My daypack came with my 60L Gregory and didn’t have any of those things. The straps were wide and looked very comfortable. The only area I saw where the quality showed was the water bladder. It’s a lot thinner that most I’ve seen, and the hose fits over a valve, it doesn’t click in. You really have to push it on there, but as long as it doesn’t get yanked straight out hard it is secure. The drinking part was also new to figure out. Basically follow the instructions in the picture, turning the nozzle to the on direction. It’s also written on the product. There’s notches that show you where to bite down for it to open. If you do it on the side water won’t come out. Overall great value for beginners and gets the job done. I was happy to be able to share this.
