Used this product to touch up some minor curb scratches on a Honda Civic black rim. I purchased some mini paint detailing touch up brushes (Touch Up Paint Brushes for Automotive Paint Chip Repair Disposable Micro Applicators (1.5, 2.0,2.0, 2.5MM, Multi) I used these to help control the paint and reduce dripping..several light coat worked great! Easy to use (follow direction on dry time and re-coat time)

A generic black. I tested it on a very small part on my vehicle. You have to look really close to see a small both applied. The quality was good and blended in much better than I expected. The tip was awesome to sand the small scratch area. I would recommend testing it on a small area first if you have a large spot you intend to use it on as there are a variety of black shades. In addition, vehicle color fades over time so if yours is faded and you put a true black even the correct vin color, it will stand out on large areas. In fairness, this product is for spot treatment though.

Matching black is lucky pretty easy to do. This covers scratches well just not perfect. You always see a slightly uneven transition from the touch up to the old flat nearby paint. It dries almost too fast so it was hard to prevent clumping after just a couple minutes of use. Overall still worked decent.

The product that I got was defective. The paint didn't come out at most times and all of a sudden the paint would squirt making the item very unreliable and difficult to use.

The paint was universal blue it was fresh and not old and dryed up it had a rust removal tip a paint brush when unscrewed and precision tip also shipping was very fast and color matched within a shade or two over all very good service and product

When I curbed my rims, I had visions of spending a couple of thousand bucks in order to buy some new rims. Instead, I decided to try this instead but with little hopes that it'd fix my black rims. I opened the package, did the little bit of sanding using the packaged tool's tip on the half-rim that was curbed then applied the black paint on the curbed areas. When I pulled my car out of the garage and into the sun, I was shocked to see that the curbed areas were restored to an almost-new state. There's still a small amount of damage showing, but it's only noticeable if you get really close in good light. Highly recommend trying this, particularly if you're thinking of spending a bunch of money to repair your rims.

Highly recommend this pen. This product is all about patience. The brush lays it on very thick if you are not careful. Applying multiple thin layers is best. Also make sure the brush handle's interior is free of paint otherwise it will lock shut.
