I got the Voltz Toys 1:12 F1 Red Bull RB18 RC car, and I’m not gonna lie… this thing made me feel like I accidentally got promoted to Formula 1 team principal in my living room. First impression? It looks legit. The detailing is sharp enough that you almost expect it to start asking for a pit stop. The Red Bull livery is clean, and the scale actually feels like they cared about more than just slapping a logo on a toy and calling it a day. Performance-wise, it moves with some real energy. It’s quick, responsive, and surprisingly stable for something you’re controlling with a handheld remote and not an actual pit crew. My first run basically turned into me laughing like a maniac while trying not to crash into furniture I’ve lived with for years. The controls are straightforward—no engineering degree required—which is good, because I was ready to just “send it” from the jump. And honestly? It handled better than I deserved. Battery life is decent for casual fun sessions. Not “race all day” long, but enough to get your speed fix before it needs a recharge and you start planning your next lap like it’s Monaco. Now, from a grown-up perspective… this is one of those “I bought it for someone else but ended up playing with it more than they did” situations. No regrets. Overall: looks great, runs fast, and brings out your inner Max Verstappen whether you planned for it or not. Would definitely recommend if you want something fun that doesn’t feel cheap or boring.

If you are into F1 models to display on a wall or a shelf, oh say in your man cave, this rc caris cool to look at up until 5 ft away. Any closer than that and u begin to notice the lack of details and that it is just a toy. If you you want this model as an RC car don't even bother buying it. This is probably one of the worst RC cars I've ever spent 80 bucks on. It literally cant get out of its own way. The front wheels turn maybe a 1/4 in . making an for a huge turning radius. Any type of realistic racing is out of the question. The traction and power on this car are sooo low that trying to use it on a surface with any imperfections is not possible. However if u try to use it on very smooth polished floors won't work either. You have one option: a no pile indoor carpet that is perfectly smooth. No wrinkles, no fringe just cheap carpeting u would use to cover ur good carpet A total of 7 AA batteries are needed(2 for remote, 5 for toy). Hope this helps understand what this toy is good at and what it's not.

Great modelling, but the electronics feels a bit cheap(better if proportional speed and steering is added). Speed is decent, but can be improved.

This Mercedes F1 racing car an amazing duplicate of the real Formula 1 car! It is so fun I purchased it for my little brother and he absolutely loved it. It has his favourite F1 driver's name and number on the car, (Lewis Hamilton), which makes it extra special to him. The car drives very smoothly and very fast and the colours of paint and designs are an exact match to the real Formula 1 car! It a very big nice size, and is also very affordable. My brother loved it and so will you!
