I can't adequately express how thrilled I am with this bag. I’ve been using it as my daily "go-to" bag (in place of a purse) for almost 3 months now, and it’s been perfect. The pebbled leather is soft but durable, holding up beautifully with no scratches or wear, which says a lot because I don't 'baby' my bags like I probably should. It’s roomy but not bulky and fits my laptop and all my other items without any bulk. The interior pockets keep things organized, and the front zip pocket is great for quick-access items. The padded straps are comfortable -- I carried it (filled to the brim) through the parks during our entire Disney trip, and at the end of the day my back/shoulders didn't hurt like they did in past trips using my prior backpack. It looks polished enough for work but works for casual wear too. The one thing I'd love added is an external pocket for a water bottle, but overall i’s a stylish, well-made, and practical backpack that I’d buy again in a heartbeat.

We love kate spade bags. We often like to go kate spade outlets to find harder to find items. We feel that this particular bag is like one of our rare finds. First we really appreciate on how well it was packaged. Often these items tend to be poorly packaged and are usually crushed or at best rumpled. Not so for this bag. It was packaged extremely well; appropriate for the premium item that it is. Now to the bag itself we love how well apportioned that this laptop bag is. It isn’t a full fledged backpack nor is that the intent. It’s not exactly a laptop messenger bag either. We have a smaller kate spade backpack but it’s too small to carry a MacBook. We’ve often wished that we could get a similar bag but slightly larger to fit a MacBook so we can use it for school as well. This bag fits perfectly for that use case! Not only is fully utilitarian but it fits our aesthetic sense to a T!

The kate spade new york Hudson Pebbled Leather backpack is a nice-looking backpack. Since it is leather I was expecting a nice leather smell, but sadly it does not smell. I suppose some people would think this is a good thing. The leather has a nice finish and shouldn't be easily marred or get water spots. The inside has a nice fabric lining, but there are fewer interior pockets than I was hoping for. At the end of the day this backpack will impress your friends, so if you feel the need to go designer and spend money you won't be dissapointed.

The first thing you notice about this bag is how supple the leather is. It is so soft, yet has great form and structure. The bag keeps it attractive shape no matter how full or empty it is. The zippers are also very durable, all metal, but small leather grips at the base of the zipper that allow you to pull the zipper open or closed with easy. The compartments are very roomy, even the "smaller" ones. The large, main compartment holds everything that i need it to, the smaller ones are so handy in which to put easy access items in order to easily reach in and grab without hassle. So many compliments, on par with a $600 bag.

Love taking this when going out. The only thing I don't like is that when I opened it out of the package it had a strong weird smell.

This backpack is beautiful. I love that it has a separate compartment for a laptop along with 2 other compartments. I also like the straps are adjustable but I don’t like that I have to take the backpack off to adjust them since they work like a belt buckle. However, this look makes the backpack look more high end. Also, the zipper teeth are really sharp feeling. When getting things in and out, it feels like it is going to slice your hand. My hope is that they will dull with time and not feel so abrasive.
