I love it! Easy to use, set up, and store. I do feel I get pain relief when using it, and again, the functionality of this device makes it a better value vs other products in my opinion. Battery life is good, and again, the size of the device is perfect, making it easy to set up, use and store. Good quality, and seems like I will get good use out of it. Review: Handy, portable red light therapy setup that feels well made - Iโve been using this FUIART red light therapy torch on my knee, and it works great for small areas like that. Itโs nice not having to mess with straps or big panels that never sit right. The torch feels solid, not cheap, and the case it comes with is surprisingly nice. You also get safety glasses and a small tripod, which made me laugh at first but actually comes in handy. The light modes are easy to switch between, and itโs small enough to pack if you travel. You do have to stick with it for a few weeks before noticing results, but thatโs normal for this kind of thing. Overall, itโs a solid little kit that feels well made and easy to use.

Easy to use, but no results in my case
This was my first time using red-light therapy, and while the device was easy to use, I didn't notice any results after three weeks of use on and off. Feels warm and nice while on, but the same old aches and pains return afterward. BACKGROUND/INTENT: Neck and back injuries from a 10+ year car accident, and mild aches in hands from work at my computer. USE: I tried twice a day, for the recommended 3-minute allotments at maximum setting. Itโs as easy as switching it on. The tripod is a nice addition and how I managed to aim it at my lower back. BATTERY: I charged once weekly when charging other devices. That was likely overkill, as it didnโt seem to die with the amount of time I used it per week.

Nice portable infrared red light torch
This red light therapy light is a nice, lightweight and portable option for targeted pain relief. It comes with everything you need including a tripod, glasses, and a carrying case. Great for travel. The torch is rechargeable and has multiple intensity settings. It produces a nice warming sensation during use which feels soothing on my lower back and calves. I can't speak to immediate results but it seems to be working on my calves. The portability and ease of use make it simple to stick with a regular routine

Skeptical but Optimistic After Use
I'm usually really skeptical about products like this but after using it for about a week I am tempted to say thay it can be a valid tool for pain relief. I notice an immediate difference in my ankle pain when I use this light and feel like there has been some improvement with regular use. The red light seems to be more effective than the over the counter topical cream and I'm hopeful that this item will continue to give me lasting pain relief when used regularly. Unfortunately, this process can take weeks to achieve (according to the instructions) and is slow going thanks to the five min intervals of use. This light can overheat if used for longer than five mins at a time; making treatment of both ankles on both sides a longer process than I had originally expected. With the roughly 5min cool down period, my ankles take about 30+ mins to treat and according to the instructions pain management should be performed up to three times a day. So you can imagine the investment of time using an item like this can be. I have been using this light in the evening before bed and on some mornings. I'm pleased with the results, just not the investment of time. This light comes with a case, protective eye wear, and a tripod for hands free use. A good value considering all the included items and ease of use. I do wish the light didnt over heat so quickly though. The battery life is pretty good, with it only needing to be charged once a week with the amount of use I mentioned above. All in all I'm glad I tried this item and I look forawrd to a several weeks to see how my ankles feel. Noticing an immediate difference may jist be a placebo effect, but for now I'm pretty impressed that a light can offer some pain relief.

Functional, but Not Entirely as Described
This is a review for the handheld red light therapy wand. It is not entirely as described. It is missing the 630nm setting that the listing states it has. This is not too big of an issue. However the 850nm setting is also very strange. Legitimate 850nm wavelength light is in the near infrared range and would be invisible to the human eye, which the listing also indicate. The 850nm setting on this wand, however, produces a lot of visible red light. It's actually the brightest setting on the device, not just a slight glow the way slightly inefficient 850nm settings might be on similar products. This is really strange. The setting labeled as 850nm on this device is probably not true 850nm. To give credit where it's due, both of the light settings produce some noticeable feeling of mild warmth, so they are probably some sort of legitimate therapeutic wavelength, just neither of them is 850nm. I tried the wand on myself for several days. It doesn't seem to deal with aches too well (which is typically the sort of issue that the 850nm wavelength deal with.) I've used the wand on an acne scar on the side of my face and the scar does appear to have faded a little bit. Given that the scar is the sort of issue that 660nm wavelength is meant to be able to address, it further indicate to me that this device probably just doesn't have a proper 850nm setting, while the included settings are just something close to 660nm. Overall, this is still a functional LED therapy device. If it's on sale or just otherwise priced a lot cheaper than other options, it's still worth going for. Just be aware it's probably not exactly the way the listing describes it to be.

So far it seems to help...
Both my wife and her mother have arthritic shoulders which causes constant pain and have had success with wavelength therapy so this looked like it might be helpful. To be fair they've gone to medical clinics before which use much more powerful wavelength devices and this is a small portable wand so I wasn't necessarily expecting the same results. Out of the box you get the light wand & charging cable, basic instructions, a mounting tripod and safety glasses packed in a small hard shell carrying case. After charging the wand you can set it up on the tripod for self-use or hold the wand directly to the problem area. The instructions say to use it 3-5 minutes at a time; we opted for the 5 minute maximum on the brightest setting. When using it the wand does slowly heat up and there is a warming sensation on the skin. There is a little bit of weight to the wand with its metal casing but nothing major. After the five minutes had passed we waited a few minutes for the device to cool down to use it again. When we had used it 3-4 times my wife said she did notice a difference in her shoulder; the pain had decreased and it felt less stiff. As for her mother the results were less noticeable; she didn't notice a huge difference after using it a few times, but her condition is pretty chronic and sometimes even the clinic wavelength devices don't help much either. There are lower strength and pulse settings as well but we kept to the maximum strength setting since that one gave results the best. We also tried it with the tripod; it was handy in that you didn't have to hold it to the skin but you had to make sure you didn't move too much to lose the contact with the wand. The safety glasses also came in handy but I'm wishing they had included a cloth case for it; the plastic wrapper it came in doesn't offer much protection and they're also on the cheap side so I don't know how long they'll last being tightly stored in the wand case. Recharging the wand is pretty easy with USB, took a couple hours to fully charge after which the charging light turned from red to green. Overall this seems to be a pretty good product; my wife had definite results from just a few uses. The instructions recommend using for three weeks minimum so we'll see how well it works over that period of time. Hopefully it'll continue to help her in the future.

I'm so glad I tried this!
**Update to review after one month of use: I used the device according to the directions for four weeks on some mild to moderate back and neck pain, soreness and stiffness. The directions say to use it for three weeks to experience the full results. I gave it one extra week to be sure before updating. I now can say that I'm so glad I gave this a try! I like it so much I ordered another one yesterday to give to a friend. This doesn't miraculously take all the issues away in one session. What I've experienced is a gradual lessening of mild and moderate pain over time. My neck has more mobility without soreness to the point where I haven't even had to use it on my neck in the last week at all. I used to wake up with some mild to moderate neck pain about once or twice a week, but to be clear it wasn't severe pain but enough to cause tension and occasional headaches and just be annoying to wake up to. I'm not noticing any more neck pain or headaches, only slight stiffness now. My back has been an issue for years so the improvement is slower but significant to me. I notice gradual improvement in sciatica symptoms slowly improving. I've been doing Physical Therapy at the same time as using this device and I feel this has been a good add on to that therapy. The heaviness in the leg and the tightness and soreness in my back is gone. The pain I had wasn't severe, to be clear it was more of an annoying pain, always there. The tingling and numbness has lessened but hasn't resolved yet. I know the physical therapy is the biggest part of my healing, but this device seems to cause the healing and strengthening to go further, faster, and takes the edge off, in my opinion.** First review: It seems to be helping me with some back and neck pain that I often experience. I've recently had a back flare up, and have been using this torch. The pain seems to be resolving more quickly than it normally does, which may be due to this device OR it could be because I took some over the counter pain medication recently. I've done a little research on red light therapy, read some reports and studies and the results seem promising. Most of all it appears very safe but please do your own research, or ask your doctor and be informed for your own health and well being. I've been using it twice or three times a day for two minutes each dose which is the suggested dosage for using it for average pain. To use it for deep pain it's suggested to do three doses of five minutes three times daily. There is a warning to not leave the torch on for over five minutes. After shutting it off I will wait a couple of minutes to let it cool down, then resume the treatment. It takes me just six minutes twice a day. There are also three modes, one press for strong light of 850nm, two presses for weak light 660nm, and three presses for a strobe which alternates strong and weak. I've been charging it daily with the enclosed cord and a power block I already have. It charges in about two hours. The red light on the end changes to a helpful green when it's charged. The torch comes in a very convenient carrying case that measures 6 3/4"x 4". It would be very convenient to carry in a backpack or purse. The torch itself is 4 3/4" and extends to 5 1/4". It has a small carrying strap attached. There is a very cool tripod with very bendable and adjustable legs. it is easy to place the torch on it and this would be great to treat a pet. You could hold the pet with two hands while using the tripod to hold the torch.
