This does exactly what I wanted it to: disolves my make up then emuslifies to a milk making rinsing really easy and removal very thorough. It's quite a thick oil, so I had to be careful not to 'drag' it around my eyes: I found moistening my eye make up with water first to be more effective. It's also quite scented - I like the smell, but it does make my eyes sting if it gets in them. But all in all, very pleased with this, can see it lasting ages and would buy again.

This Neighbourhood Botanicals Facial Cleanser is British made and has a natural blend of ingredients free of the likes of sulphates or alcohol and is cruelty free tested. The packaging has a stylish urban retro feel to it and the pump dispenser comes its own little gift box. Most importantly, it is a really effective remover of dirt and make up, but you do have to follow the instructions carefully for best results. You should avoid simply applying the cleanser to a make up pad and wiping instead you really need to work the milk around your face lightly massaging it into dry skin before removal. If you do this systematically you will be able to remove waterproof and ordinary make up without difficulty by rinsing off with warm water which changes the liquid to milk as you wash leaving you with a cleansed skin which is also hydrated thanks to the oil based nature of the product. The ingredient list is hard to read, but the formulation is simply packed with oils including avocado, bergamot and marula which also gives the cleanser a rich, herbal fragrance which enhances the experience of using this very effective and practical cleanser. Well worth trying.

The packaging is nice whilst a little edgy, and not the more traditional marketing style. It comes in an easy to use pump dispenser - great when you are half asleep and need to cleanse!You only need a little squirt of it, and mix it in with water, so a little bit goes a long way.Surprisingly good product, especially given my partner (who this is for) was a little wary of putting an oil based product on her face, and didn't believe it would turn milky once water was applied, but as if by magic, it did, and was extremely effective in removing all traces of make-up. So much so that her face was squeaky clean yet not at all dry. In fact, her skin was soft and hydrated. An excellent result given she has naturally dry skin!The scent is quite herbal (in tune with the overall 'indie' packaging), which might put some off, but my partner found it to be nice, and in step with the overall product , which is probably the aim.In conclusion a very good product, if a little expensive... but a little goes a long way

Although it comes in a fairly small bottle, you only need 1 pump per use so it lasts quite a long time. I really like to use this as the first part of a double cleanse routine to remove my makeup and thoroughly cleanse at night.I dispense it onto my hand, warm it between my hands then massage it into my skin. It spreads really well and you can massage it onto any areas which need thorough cleansing. As an oil based cleanser, it is very good at melting away makeup and I find it is pretty good at removing my stubborn eye makeup, especially when used with a microfibre face cloth. I remove it with a warm damp face cloth and follow it with a gentle gel based cleanser to remove any residual oil.

This came in some nice retro packaging and I was excited to try it.This is an oil that removes makeup and then changes to a cleanser when water is added.The oil is a yellow colour and is easy to apply to the face. It did take off my make up well and very quickly, once warm water was added it’s turned into a cleansing foam that was clear. This cleanser does say that it doesn’t make your skin feel tight but I did fill my skin tightening up after use and I felt I needed to do a double cleanse. Also I really didn’t like the fragrance that is added, it’s very overpowering and has a kind of musky earthy smell. Maybe it’s just not to my taste but it did linger for quite awhile after.For £27 I expect this to be better than it is so I wouldn’t buy again but at the end the day it might just be my taste.

This oil based face makeup wash is basically made by a combination of apricot oil, castor seed oil, avocado oil, marula seed oil, lavender and bergamot oil. No synthetics, no silicones, no alcohol, no sulphates, 100% CLEAN.It works nicely to remove the make upBut i am a bit concerned about castor seed oil...as castor seed is toxic. I am not sure how good is this one...They didn't list the influence of caster seed oil hopefully it is alright.
